Since 1999, the conference on Mining, Metallurgy and Geology gives the possibility for professional growth and inspiration to Hungarian speaking scholars of these disciplines. This conference is organized to provide opportunities for scientists and professionals from Romania and abroad to meet, discuss and debate current research issues and tendencies. Numerous affiliated organizations and collaborators from abroad participate every year at this event, fostering international cooperation and facilitating information exchange. The professional field trip is one of the highlights of this conference, allowing every year a more in-depth exploration of this region from a geological point of view. The papers presented at this symposium are published every year in our conference volume.
